WATER QUALITY MONITORING

Water quality monitoring is key to ensuring that the public receives safe, good quality water. Numerous treatment facilities throughout the central San Joaquin Valley fluoridate, disinfect and remove synthetic and organic contaminants at various well sites and at surface water treatment facilities.

Water quality monitoring duties include sampling the wells and all stages of surface water treatment, preparing monthly reports for the health department and developing annual customer reports that detail contaminant levels, if any, in the water.

Water Quality Report

As required by the State of California and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, water utilities must provide customers with an annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). This report details important information about drinking water and its quality.
